Raptors Coverage: Dec 19, LA Lakers

Game 28 – LA Lakers (L 120-110) Sunday Dec 19
Didn’t Watch
Couldn’t get near a TV, today was Christmas tree cutting day with the fam-jam. The Raptors ran into an LA Lakers team, that was “not to be underestimated” despite their 20-7 record (which towers above Toronto’s lowly 10-17). The defending champs also brought a healthy Andrew Bynum to Toronto for their only visit to the ACC this season. Toronto started well and defended Kobe with aplomb, but couldn’t match up with Gasol and Bynum in the post. Defensively the Raptors struggled and LA ended up on the free-throw line 39 times for 31 of their total points. Bargnani missed this game as well, some sort of stiffness or soreness and Amir Johnson simply couldn’t match up. Kleiza was the lone bright spot for the Raptors with a 26 point, 10 rebound double-double.
